Coastal Safety Team
The Coastal Safety Team is strong and consists of enthusiastic team members with a diversity of skills and a love of the sea.
Our Instructor Team are accredited by various international bodies including RYA / FTA / CSI and have a wealth of knowledge that they wish to share with you. We maintain a refresher scheme to ensure that our instructors are up to date with latest practices and that they have the knowledge about latest technological advancements. Traditional skills are important to us as the love of the sea.
The team are works with Dubai Arts and Heritage to participate in the Dubai Sea Festival where we run workshops for tourists, visitors and local schools in knot tying, navigation whilst sharing Dubai’s beautiful nautical heritage.
We regularly support maritime events in:
- Abu Dhabi
- Dubai
- Ras Al Khaimah
- Fujairah
- Sri Lanka
We have a “techy” team to keep our ICT current and are designing some interesting apps to encourage interest in marine matters. Our youtube channel is approaching 2 million views from around the world where people regularly engage in comments and suggestions for promoting safe boating.
